Where You Can Find Me At Macworld | iWorld 2012

If you’re going to be attending Macworld | iWorld 2012 and want to say hello, here are the schedule times and places you can find me:

Thursday, January 26

I’ll be hosting the Parenting In The Mobile Internet Age Tech Talk, #926, at 1 PM, with a A panel of Mac technologists who also happen to be parents. We will discuss the challenges of raising children in a mobile, connected world that is constantly changing. Social media, gaming, iPhone use, texting, balancing tech with real world activities, and how much tech is not enough or too much are just some of the questions that will be addressed. The panel will draw on their own experiences to provide technical and practical guidelines and solutions for helping manage your child’s mobile digital life. Scheduled to join me are Macworld Senior Editor Christopher Breen, Tonya Engst of TidBITS and Take Control, Chuck La Tournous of RandomMaccess and The Mac Observer and Omaha Sternberg of iGame Radio.

Friday, January 27

The Mac Roundtable crew has our very own Tech Talk, #924, this year, and I’ve been elected to act as moderator again. The subjects will cover a broad range and are bound to vary from what we have planned, just like the shows. That’s at 10 AM, when the show opens.

At 1 PM, Ken Ray of MacOSKen and I will present Mac, iPad and iPhone Essentials: The Stuff You Gotta Have (Tech Talk #974). Rather than focus on just the newest products that aren’t tried and true yet, we’ll talk about the hardware, software and services we can’t live without, or at least wouldn’t want to live without, for both the Mac and iOS platforms. Whether you’re new to either, or an old pro, you will find something here to make you more productive and your life easier.

This year, MacVoices is proud to be a sponsor of Cirque du Mac 9.0, “The Greatest Party on Earth.” And it really is, with the Macworld All-Star Band providing the music. Hope to see you there on Friday evening.

The rest of the time you will find me roaming the show food and halls of Moscone, recording interviews for MacVoicesTV. Stop by and say hello, just don’t step in front of the camera. :)
